Moon Consulting are pleased to be working with TLT to promote the launch of their dedicated non-executive director (NED) website.

 TLT is a top 100 law firm with offices in Bristol and London and it has approximately 700 staff including 65 partners and over 350 lawyers, many of whom are recognised as experts in their field.  TLT advises FTSE-listed, national and international businesses including many household names.  Moon Consulting has a long track record of working with and recruiting NEDs in a variety of business sectors, particularly within the South West.

The new TLT NED web site will be a free service to a limited number of NEDs that either we or TLT know well. The site will help you to keep up to date on legal issues, provide access to basic legal information and standard documentation, as well as being a hub for useful data and links, including:

• sample documents for example a standard non-executive director appointment letter
• monthly newsletters on topics of particular interest to non-executive directors and summaries of current legal issues
• guides, fact sheets and check lists looking at an overview of a topic or type of transaction, such as things to consider when carrying out a management buyout, or a client guide to due diligence
• links to useful websites such as the company annual reports online, the FT annual reports online and the London Stock Exchange
• business directory links including Company Insight, Europages and Scoot
• business news links to all the national newspapers, the FT, Telegraph, Times and BBC Business
• Companies House information guidance booklets, statutory forms and other information
• Seminars - We will also hold a forthcoming joint event to be held at TLT offices - date to be announced imminently!  

The site will also have links to:

• free online company information - the Corporate Library, Hoovers UK
• international company information
• corporate information - AIM Rules for companies, the Institute of Directors, Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the FSA Handbook and Register, HM Revenue & Customs, the Listing Rules, London Stock Exchange, UKLA website.

There will also be a research facility which will provide guidance on how to find information such as company information and legislation.

As the service will only be available to a limited number of NEDs, we are also aiming to include an online forum on the site and arrange networking events at regular intervals.
