Vanessa Moon has over twenty years senior recruitment experience for clients both in the UK and internationally. After graduating in Psychology she commenced her career with Rank Xerox. Since then Vanessa has worked as a Regional Manager for a major accountancy financial recruiter, then in Search and Selection and Head Hunting. Her strengths lie in senior executive recruitment, and both business start-ups and business turnaround situations.
Vanessa set up Moon Consulting in 2000 perceiving a need for a return to the personal touch in this sector. Her corporate memberships include sitting on the South West Council of the CBI (See www.cbi.org.uk ) , Chair of the WOW Group and a member of Business West (formerly the Bristol Chamber of Commerce), Institute of Personnel and Development, and the Institute of Directors, as well as many other business networking associations.
Shaun joined Moon Consulting as a director in 2003. Following the completion of a Ph.D, he joined an established accountancy recruiter where he launched two divisions and was latterly responsible for interim management and senior permanent recruitment in the UK and Europe. Shaun now works for a variety of owner-managed and corporate clients conducting contingent searches, head-hunting, and national advertising campaigns. Shaun places a particular emphasis on working with South West based owner-managed businesses to provide succession planning and executive resourcing advice. Out of the office Shaun practices Aikido, enjoys mountain biking and playing golf.
Brian is a graduate Chartered Accountant, with twenty years PQE. He has worked for a £60million manufacturing business as Divisional Director of Finance and as head of finance for a medium sized import and distribution business supplying High Street retailers. He now acts as a business consultant to a number of entrepreneurial enterprising small businesses advising on strategy, performance and bottom line profitability
Chris Eatwell has 12 years experience as a Management Consultant across the UK, having worked previously as HR Director or General Manager for national and international businesses in London, Bristol and Cardiff. He has lead major change programmes and been involved in business turnarounds. He has strengths in devising and linking HR strategy and practice to the needs of the business, and is an experienced coach and mentor of senior managers. Chris has excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills, and is a experienced project manager. He has an MA degree Manpower Studies and is a member of the CIPD (The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
