QA/QC ENGINEER

Due to the continued success of our well established client, a world leader in design and engineering solutions, they now have a requirement for a QA/QC Engineer to join their team located in the South West.

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Manager shall provide advice and support in relation to all technical company matters, ensuring that both client and company quality requirements are satisfied. Ensure positive interface with company, client and supplier representatives. Engage positively in promotion of all Quality and HSE activities.

Responsible for:

  • Assist in maintaining ISO 9001
  • Perform internal audits
  • Supplier evaluation and auditing
  • Review and approval of supplier/certification documents
  • Third party inspection-arrangement and coordination
  • Assist with evaluation of tenders
  • Assist with preparation of project specific Quality and HSE plans
  • Ensure an appropriate level of quality documentation and certification is completed throughout the company and associated projects.
  • Other duties as may be required

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the ability to interpret appropriate Quality Standards/Specifications and associated documentation.

Sound understanding of certification requirements and document control to include administration skills such as the ability to interpret, review and approve supplier and internal documentation.

Must be a well organised self-starter with a positive outlook, team leadership skills, and a clear focus to get the job done.
